Diaverum has recently partnered with industry specialists to contribute to the European Kidney Care Initiative towards climate neutrality.
The Nordic Center for Sustainable Healthcare (NCSH), of which Diaverum has been a member since October 2023, hosted a webinar on June 13 to discuss how to make kidney care sustainable, in preparation for the 6th Northern European Conference on Sustainable Healthcare "Innovation Challenge" in October.

The webinar is part of KitNewCare, an initiative co-funded by Horizon Europe and UK Research and Innovation, launched in early 2024 and set to last three years.
An initiative that involves various actors, including patients, health professionals, NGOs, industry partners and politicians.
Stephanie de Sury, Global Environmental, Social and Governance Manager, represented Diaverum, presenting the environmental strategy to achieve the NetZero goal by 2050. "I was really pleased that our collaboration with NCSH allowed us to play a role in such an important discussion together with industry representatives. Coming together under a common cause has been both enlightening and inspiring, and I look forward to attending the October session," Sury said.
Diaverum is already working to reduce its carbon footprint through a number of initiatives, including increasing the energy efficiency of its centers, using renewable energy, and reducing waste.
The company's commitment and collaboration with others to develop innovative solutions will help create a greener future for all.
