Nicla Campobasso joined Diaverum in 2022, and Health Director of the Diaverum Dialysis Center of Bari (BA) and Acquaviva delle Fonti (BA) and Country Medical Director of Diaverum Italy, responsible for the aspects and clinical protocols of Diaverum dialysis centers in Italy.
Dr Campobasso has a very long experience in the field of nephrology, and she has always worked at the Polyclinic of Bari as a medical manager starting in the team of Prof. Schena and then the team of Prof. Gesualdo.
After graduating in medicine from the University of Bari, Dr Campobasso specialized in Medical Oncology and then in Nephrology, acquiring high skills in the field of Ultrasound and also covering the role of Head of the Unit of Ultrasound and Interventional Ultrasound from 2000 to 2018.
Since January 2021, she has also been Head of the Operations Unit of Nephrology covid, in the Maxi Emergency Hospital set up at the Fiera del Levante, managing the numerous cases of positive dialysis patients, in concert with the two Departments of Resuscitation , Emergency Medicine and Pneumology .
